Gangrel is best known for his appearances in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) from 1998 to 2001 and intermittently throughout the mid-2000s under the ring name Gangrel. He became a singles wrestler following the breakup of The New Brood; he was mainly used as a mid-carder. Gangrel continued working for the WWF until he was released in 2001, reportedly for weight problems. In recent times, Gangrel has worked in All Elite Wrestling as well.
